Region – Suggested weighting multipliers

The suggested score is controlled by the ‘Suggested weighting multipliers”

A suggested score is calculated for all accounts that are not on any other ‘to-do’ list. The ‘To-do Suggested’ is a list of accounts, with the highest scoring accounts at the top. By doing this, it gives the collectors a focus on which accounts to work on, after they have processed the other ‘to-do’ lists.

There are 7 criteria for calculating the suggest score.

  • Collector risk rating
  • Manager risk rating
  • DSO
  • DSO increase
  • Current
  • Overdue
  • Over credit limit

You can setup a ‘multiplier’ for each of these criteria in the region setup. Firstly, a sub-score between 0-9 is calculated for each of the criteria.

The ‘Collector risk rating’ and ‘Manager risk rating’ use the values entered in the account.

The other criteria are given a score by looking at each of the account’s data as a proportion of the highest figures for all accounts in the region, and scores this out of 9. For example, if this account has a Current balance of 80.00, and the highest Current balance for all accounts in the region is 90.00, then this account would have a sub score of 8 for the Current balance.

Next the score is calculated for each of the criteria, by multiplying the sub score by the multiplier for the region.

Finally, the scores for all the criteria are added up to as a raw score, and the final score is calculated by taking the account’s raw score compared to the highest raw score for all accounts in the region, and scores this out of 99

The suggested score for all accounts is re-calculated after every data load, or when any data is changed that affects the suggested score.

As a worked example.
